Want to get your music reviewed? No problem! However, there are a few rules you'll need to stick with in order to elevate your chances. They are here to primarily help me go through your submissions in an orderly manner but they'll also help you with other blogs that do the same. Before we get into that, know this. There is always a possibility I won't reply back, especially if I'll have a lot of submissions but I'll try that this is not the case.

Rule number 1: No Spotify links.

Seriously, if you want to have any semblance of professionalism, pasting your Spotify link in my DM's or attaching it in your e-mail is absolutely no way to go and if nothing this will ensure that your album WON'T get reviewed. Your best bet is a Bandcamp promo code, YouTube can do but only in the case you don't have Bandcamp which begs the question, why don't you have Bandcamp yet?

Rule number 2: Basic information.

That's a given but there is more to this then just listing your name, genre and calling it a day. Most important thing you need to remember is to list: album art, band picture, the release date, label name, members, their respective instruments and genre tags. It's an invaluable resource for me so use it wisely. Listing bands that inspired you is also a plus!

Rule number 3: Social media.

Another obvious pick but one that cannot be overstated. Since Instagram is still my primary platform, an Instagram name is a must since I'll be tagging you. Of course do link your other social media accounts as well.

Rule number 4: Tone.

Don't wanna sound entitled but at the end of the day, us reviewers don't owe you anything since we do all this pro bono and use our free time so the last thing I wanna see is a) spamming and b) rude or unprofessional tone. Now, I am not one of those pages who'll only read extremely cold and professional e-mails, in fact I encourage the opposite! Add a bit of YOU into it you know? Some character and basic decency go a long way in these realms, you'd be surprised!
